renal failure symptoms

Kidneys are bean-shaped organs located on both sides of the spine of the human body, below the rib cage. Kidneys help excrete the waste products along with excess water. As blood passes through kidneys, waste products and toxins are removed from the blood and electrolytes are preserved in the body. Kidney failure is said to occur when kidneys are not able to rid the body of the harmful toxins and excess fluid. In scientific language, it can be said that a decrease in the glomerular filtration rate indicates renal failure. The toxic blood and excess water which gets accumulated in the body can lead to several health complications which can be at times fatal. Therefore it is necessary to know the symptoms of renal failure.
